Photohunt: Beautiful

She's beautiful ain't she? Well, maybe not beautiful, but she sure is radiant. That though is not the real reason why I used this particular photo. In a society where more and more youth is associated with beauty, products such as this one continues to capture their market share. This one purportedly has CLA or Conjugated Linoleic Acid that's supposed to rejuvenate old degenerating skin to produce new ones. While I don't necessarily know that it works, I can imagine why such a product would be popular. Who doesn't want younger healthier skin? Yet beauty is indeed just skin deep. A healthy skin does not a healthy body make. Nor does it necessitate a sound mind or more importantly a virtous character. I suppose it doesn't help to care for the skin, just not at the expense of the rest of the body.

I have not heard of this product, but the woman does look beautiful on the package. You are so right, beauty can sometimes only be skin deep.

Oh, well done for playing still. I was so busy that I just never got 'round to it.
But hey, I agree to what you said here. I think there is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself, but one must also enjoy life & not worry too much about wrinkles & all these getting old business!! =)

@elle: nope, still intact hehe...

@momisodes: I'd like to think that through someone's eyes, we still catch glimpses of their inner self, nevermind if they do not wish to show it.

@kaycee: hehe... how true, though I imagine how difficult it must be when you have to face yourself every morning. :)

@lizz: Hehe... good choice.:)

@JC: nope, still a freeloader :p

haha beauty can be defined in thousands of ways depending on what's beautiful in the eyes of who ever is looking! hahaha anyway, my professor says its effective, though i think it's not keeping her from getting and looking old! hahaha

@NS: Hehe... then I guess it's not as effective as she claim it is.

@Cam: HAha... I'm not sure if I'm even going to use it, kinulit lang ako ng mom ko to get one kasi sayang daw.

@PM: Hmm... pinagiisipan ko pa eh... what do you think?
