Photohunt: View

I've been reduced to a mere specter in the blogosphere for the last 2 weeks. No substantial entry not even a photo entry for Photohunt! I must say, it feels strange not being able to blog or even comment on other people's blog. During the break, I have a change of views--literally!

Photobucket
This used to be the view that greets me each morning

Photobucket
Not anymore! This is the view from my new home.

Photobucket
Ok, so not exactly that. That was taken from the hole where the Air-conditioning unit should be. Still this one's not bad at all!

Yeah, we moved 2weeks to the date today. We're not quite settled in yet, but it was surprisingly easy to get used to. I love the view that greets me each morning. It's astonishingly calm and serene which is a big bonus being right smack in the middle of the metropolis.

Let me leave you with a few other views I see on a regular basis.

Photobucket
A view from my office.

Photobucket
This one's at the other end of the building.

Photobucket
For some reason our rehab center is 8 stories up. Tough for wheelchairs, but excellent view.

Photobucket
Here's the view from up front. The the Philippine Central Bank where our currency is minted. It sure has a fortress-like feel to it, heck it even has a moat!

Whew! It's good to be back. Thanks for viewing!

Wow - that was really interesting seeing all the things you normally see, but that I would never get to see. :) That was great!

Great photo choices. I love the "new view" one.
Thanks for visiting my entry.

I kinda like the 'boxed in view' of your new one. That's a good angled shot.

Mine's up, it's a Cat's Eye View of fun.

Happy Hunting.

Wow, that first shot just looks like chaos to me compared with the others. I love the shot from your workplace, overlooking the palm trees. The landscaping is beautiful. I love looking at places I have never been to. Thanks for sharing those.

I love the Philippines, I have not been there since 1969, I bet it has changed a lot....

I enjoyed seeing all of your views. I know you'll enjoy the view from your new home.

hmmm. if i'm not mistaken, that's east avenue. so you work at the hospital there?

philos said...

@Picturing of Life: You're welcome :) And thanks too!

@Baker Watson: Yeah, I enjoy just looking at them everyday :) Thank you too!

@abritdifferent: Thanks! I love looking at photos of places I've never been to and then sorta put them on a mental to-visit list :)

@Sarge Charlie: Wow! That's a mighty long time! Lots of changes indeed! The hospital I work at right now wasn't even there in 1969... you should come down and visit again one of these days :)

@Snap2Days: Thanks! I do.

@little light: Yep! Right you are, that's East Avenue alright. I work at the Philippine Heart Center. :)
