I just had a double double today. Well not exactly a double double, at least not playing basketball. See I participated in 2 contests and I managed two 2nd place finish. Like I said, a double double of sorts.
The first one was a healthy cooking contest at work to celebrate nutrition month. This one I actually joined last year except I was the only contestant then so they had to cancel the whole thing. It finally pushed through this year, and like I said, I won 2nd place.

No, my name's not Frank.
1st place. Pretty good really, and quite presentable too. Those are peeled cucumber artistically covering the fish. He also made a side dish of stir-fried veggies. I could almost swear he was a pro--turns out he was. He's a cook at the dietary kitchen.
2nd Place. Fragrant Broccoli wit Fish Fillet--secret ingredient? Green tea! Not bad huh?
Sure I'd prefer 1st place, but I'm glad I'm not 3rd. I'm just happy I now have a legitimate cooking distinction hehe...
3rd Place. Utan which in Bisaya means ulam (dish). It's a combination of various veggies, yam, sweet potatoes and fried fish (galungong). I actually liked it except I avoid eating fish in things with a lot of sauce--you don't know when your next sip ends up getting fishbone stuck in your throat.
The second was an impromptu speaking contest at my toastmasters club.

Both events only had 3 contestants.
The winner: Wyndale. The contest master: Gary, our club president. That hand right there is Ryan's, and he'll be uploading the videos on our site soon--feel free to check them out.
Oh today not only had double doubles--there was a triple double too.
