Photohunt: Lazy (Wii Party at Red Box)

Too lazy to play sports? Play Wii Sports!

Now I've never really played tennis before, but this looks like a fun way to try it.

Wii Sports your choice
...

The get-out-of-my-way-because-I'm-crazy mode (not-so-lazy-me stage left) and the really lazy way (JC stage right)

Now I'm sure you'd have lots of questions (or not), so here's the answer to some of the most frequently asked questions. (Feel free to ask me some more via the comments if you're left unsatisfied by the FAQ's.)

FAQ 1: Was it fun?

Do I look like I'm having fun? You bet! Btw, that's me preparing to catch a serve.

FAQ 2: And where did we do this fun thing?

Why at Red Box of course! Yep! They offer Wii now! Weee!

FAQ 3: So who won?

Marcelle won the costume contest with his best impression of Solid Snake (aka person-hiding-under-a-cardboard box) of the Metal Gear Solid fame (not that they have it on Wii mind you)

Now if you mean the Chicken Mafia open, it ended with one chicken beating another chicken 2 set to 1. Oh, and did I mention I took the opening game--my Wii sports debut?

FAQ 4: Aside from playing Wii, what else can we do at at Red Box?

That's the best part... eat, drink and sing all you can!

Oh, and one last thing!

Buffet rules! Yeah baby!

Check out their website or just go visit them at Greenbelt 3 or Trinoma to have your own fun! And please feel free to invite me!

N.B. You can also check out their Daily Super Promos! And feel free to visit my multiply site to see more photos.

Wasn't able to go to that party, being a weekday and given at short notice.

By the way, have you got your card yet?

Not so lazy.

I think that was fun. It's like playing an actual tennis game. Did you win your game?

Wii is fun!!! Definitely a great way to spend a lazy weekend!! :)

Weee! It's Wii! And it's surely would get my lazy and play it all day long too! XD

Nice theme and enjoy the weekend.

Carver said...

I'm not sure if you looked like you were having fun but it was a funny post. You did look very focused. Happy weekend.

philos said...

@Bengbeng: Only if you take it seriously as I did hehe

@julie: Too bad, it was fun! Relaxed and simple. Nope, but only because I'm not part of blogbank hehe... I'm a small player in the blogosphere. I think the others got theirs though. :)

@Colin Campbell: Hehe...

@TiOheM: Hmm... I didn't feel the ball coming at me enough, but yeah it was close enough to the real thing to be fun. And no, I lost 2 out of 3 hehe...

@Napaboaniya: Now ain't that something? To laze around and exercise at the same time!

@H e n r i c k: Thanks... I'm afraid you don't have the luxury of lazing around just yet though. :)

@Carver: Haha... Yeah, I was having fun. And the whole time JC was going something like... stop moving, you might hit somebody.. stop doing that you might break the TV hehe... a regular control freak.

Looks fun to me - but I have never tried it. Doesn´t look so lazy ;)

RJ Flamingo said...

That looks like a blast! But does it count as lazy if you actually burn calories? :-)

Come over and meet JJ, won't you?

@philos: You did almost break the TV :-P

This is a funny and creative post! I have to admit that I love Wii bowling but it's because I'm lazy and Wii is easier than real bowling. :)

Happy weekend!

jmb said...

You don't look very lazy to me but it does look like fun. Have a good weekend.

Thanks for the comment. Looks like you had fun at the party!

Re: I used 18-200 mm lens that's why I could take that picture.

philos said...

@Yen: Hehe... I wish I have one here too!

@Leslie: It is, especially if you've friends to play the game with.

@Randi: It's not... until you compare it to the real thing hehe...

@RJ Flamingo: Haha... I'm not sure JC burned much... plus we did eat buffet before we played, so inasmuch as I'd like to think I burned calories, I probably had a net gain :p

@joyfulchicken: That's besides the point :p

@Annie: Haha... Thanks! Happy weekend too! :)

@jmb: You're too kind hehe

@Sweeta: Sweet! :)

never been a gamer myself. i remember way back when Atari was the king of home gaming entertainment. my dad got one for me but it stayed in the box most of the time. and then there was "Game & Watch" and Nintendo (Super Mario). yep, i had all these but never got addicted to them that much. i remember getting in some gaming rooms a couple of times with friends. even when i had my very first PC, the only game it had was "Need for Speed". hehehe... but that one i would really say has got me bigtime!

when Wii came out of the market, WalMart (where i work) launched it first and gave the employees a very enticing deal. it didn't send me rushing as an early bird! but you know what? my wife did!

gaming is fun. at least now i find it like that, finally. it sets a happy mood for the family. i enjoy playing with my wife and kids at home.

have a blessed weekend, king arthur!
