Photohunt: Metal

Photobucket
A metal screen door is a common sight on front doors here in the Philippines.

This is because we live in a tropical country, and it gets really warm sometimes, a practical way of addressing this is leaving the door open to allow fresh air in which unfortunately attracts thieves and mosquitoes, best response? Attach a metal screen door. It allows the air in and keep the pests out.

Here's the man we hired to build us a screen door.

You must have HUGE mosquitoes. Can't they still get through the metal grate? ;)

I did Photo Hunt today, too. I hope you get a chance to visit and leave your link. :)

I wish we would get screen doors. There are some days I'd love to open the doors but we have mosquitoes too.

Mine are up.

We love our screen door too. Only, in Florida, they are called "Storm Doors" for some reason, lol. :)
